History

Founded in 1937, the Pennsylvania Association of Educational Office Professionals is a member-supported organization dedicated to the professional growth and recognition of educational office personnel as members of the educational management team.

PAEOP became a department of the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) in 1973, and the PAEOP president is a voting member of the PSBA Executive Board.

Affiliations

The Pennsylvania Association of Educational Office Professionals is an affiliate of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals (NAEOP) and is represented on the national council.

PAEOP supports NAEOP programs and projects and subscribes to its code of ethics.  www.naeop.org

Further, PAEOP encourages local county organizations of educational office personnel to affiliate with PAEOP.

 

Code of Ethics

As educational office employees, we affirm our belief that an education is the birthright of every person and pledge ourselves to the preservation of that right.  We recognize the special province of the professional educator and the significance of the responsibilities assumed by the educator.  We also recognize the unique role of the educational office employee and the importance of the contribution made in such a position.
